Mr. Azuma received his B. Eng. in intelligent information engineering from Kyushu Institute of Technology in 2002.
He worked as a software engineer for a mid-sized Japanese IT software company from 2002 to 2006.
He engaged in patent search services at a patent search company from 2006 to 2008.
From 2008 to 2011, he worked in the intellectual property department of a University of Tokyo spin-off IT venture company, where he was responsible for establishing the IP department, filing patent applications relating to image processing technologies, and conducting patent searches.
He founded RISE Co., Ltd. in 2011.
He established TRUSS Patent Office in 2024. The firm was subsequently integrated into INTERBRAIN in connection with his participation in the firm, and its business operations were transferred thereto.
He joined INTERBRAIN Patent Professional Corporation in 2026.
